The Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHW) is a drop-off collection facility that accepts household hazardous waste materials from residents and small businesses that qualify for CESQG status.

Driving Directions to the Facility

Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway to exit 12 and go south on Route 45. Turn right onto Pomona Road and make the first right onto Fireman's Mamorial Drive. The Facility is located at the end of the road on the left-hand side.

  • Refrigerators, Washer & Dryers, Microwave Ovens.

Delivery and Transportation

Place container upright in a cardboard box or other suitable container and secure in vehicle. Leaking containers must be placed inside another container (e.g. plastic bucket) with a tight fitting lid.

CESQGs - Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators

Small businesses, institutions, municipalities, non-profits and schools in Rockland County that qualify for CESQG status may also deliver hazardous waste to the HHW Facility for a fee.
